Domtar honored with Forest Products Innovation Award

Biorenewable Deployment Consortium (BDC) honored Domtar with the organization’s inaugural 2019 Forest Products Innovation Award for their culture of innovation in the deployment of new biorenewable processes directed toward achieving the highest value from the tree.
“BDC is proud to honor Domtar as the first recipient of its Fall 2019 Forest Products Innovation Award,” said BDC Treasurer and CoFounder Harry Seamans. “Domtar is a great example of a company that has developed a culture that is willing to be first in the deployment of biorenewable processes that will add new products, add value to operations, and make the company more viable for the future. Domtar is a leader in adding value to Kraft lignin through the production of higher value commercial products.”
