TAPPI’s CorrPak® Competition, one of the most prestigious in the corrugated industry, has announced it is now accepting entries for its 2020 event. Held only in even-numbered years, CorrPak recognizes the best and brightest work in the industry.
This year, the Competition will be held at the highly anticipated 2020 SuperCorrExpo®, taking place September 13 – 17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida USA – a leading international destination for both business and leisure travelers.
The CorrPak® Competition is an elite industry event that has captured the attention of worldwide leaders in the corrugated industry for more than 29 years. Sponsored by TAPPI’s Corrugated Packaging Division, this international competition is open to all corrugated manufacturers who have produced commercial corrugated packaging products between August 1, 2018 and August 1, 2020. Students and anonymous entries are invited to submit as well. Deadline for entries is Friday, August 7.
As technology continues to advance in all aspects of life, it has significantly changed the processes in the corrugated industry. Reflecting these advances, CorrPak is implementing a new experimental category to this this year’s competition: E-Commerce and Subscription Packaging. This new category is designed to recognize unique and uber-creative elements in those specific areas. Other entry categories include:
- Structure
- Printing
- Combined Techniques
All entries will be on display in the Convention Center throughout SuperCorrExpo 2020. As part of the competition, SuperCorrExpo attendees will also have the exclusive opportunity to view and vote for a winner in the Attendees’ Favorite award category.
