Dynatrol® Density Systems measure sizing and clay coatings while providing continuous measurement either in-line or in vessels at process conditions.
The Dynatrol® Density System consists of two components, a density cell and a digital converter. The digital converter program for starch applications uses temperature and density information provided from the CL-10HY density cell to calculate product baumé, density at a reference temperature and specific gravity. The same reference tables used by starch manufacturers to cross check results are also used by the Dynatrol® starch program.
Dynatrol® Density Cells satisfies a wide range of process changes in ambient temperature, pressure, viscosity or flow. All are weather-tight and explosion-proof and available in a full spectrum of corrosion resistant materials. They meet the needs of broad temperatures (300°F and 500°F) and pressure ratings (1000 and 1480 PSI). There are no motors, bearings, spindles or moving parts to maintain, which provides and ensures a virtually wear-free and long operating life.
The Dynatrol® Digital Density Converter (Series 2000) increases speed and accuracy, without compromising reliability. It incorporates an on-board microcontroller, a simple calibration and keypad operation and arrives ready to use on your application. A two-line LCD displays temperature, density, product frequency and status.
The Dynatrol® Density Systems achieve exceptional accuracy and are rugged enough to withstand harsh environments.
