In response to current events and restrictions on travel, for the first time TAPPI’s Yankee Dryer Spring Committee Meeting will be a free virtual event using Microsoft Teams from May 12-14, 2020.
Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee (YDSRC) Meeting covers in-depth information around inspection, repair and dependability of the Yankee Dryer and problems that cause drying system delays and compromise safety.
Over the course of two-hour time slots per day, attendees of the 2020 meeting can expect:
- Tech Talks on Measuring Surface Roughness by Toscotec and Fracture Mechanics of Welds by A.Celli
- Presentation on Visual Vibration Analysis by Dan Nower, RDI Technologies
- Yankee Failures Updates by Magnus Hogman, Valmet
- Committee and Working Group Updates and more.
