In response to the shortage of personal protective equipment front-line responders are facing while fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, HSMG™ donated 10,000 masks to the State of New York. These masks were delivered on Wednesday, May 20, and will be used by the State’s Emergency Management Team. The U.S. has reported over 1.5 million coronavirus cases, with New York reporting over 350,000 coronavirus cases - the highest number of cases in any state.
“HSMG was created to improve the health of our planet and the quality of the life of its people,” said Samuel Mikail, Chairman and Founder of HSMG. “We extend our deepest gratitude to the healthcare workers and responders who are fighting this global pandemic.” Samuel added, “Their efforts today will give our world the chance to return stronger than before. It is a privilege to be able to support them in our small way and we encourage others to do the same.”
To organize this donation, HSMG used its global network and its rapid response capabilities to source and procure an international supply chain. Through this pandemic, HSMG remains committed to the health and wellbeing of everyone and will look for more opportunities to answer the call for help. In addition to the donation made to New York, the company has donated additional masks to private companies who are operating as essential businesses.
