Sappi to Increase Prices for Woodfree Coated and Uncoated Paper Grades for All European Markets

Sappi Europe announced a price increase for its Woodfree Coated and Woodfree Uncoated paper grades (sheets and reels) by 8-10% for all European markets.
In a written statement, Sappi said, "Decreasing profitability combined with large, sudden cost increases, both in raw materials and logistics make a price increase unavoidable.
The price hikes will be implemented by March 1, 2021 at the latest, Sappi said.
Customers will be contacted by their local sales office representatives with further market related details, Sappi added.
