Mica Corporation Expands Global Distribution Network; Partners with Unique Trading to Support Growth Efforts in Pakistan

Mica Corporation, a leading manufacturer of water-based primers and coatings for the global flexible packaging industry since 1971, finalized an agreement with Unique Trading in March to become Mica’s exclusive distributor in Pakistan.
“The flexible packaging market in Pakistan is quickly developing. Establishing a strategic partnership with Unique Trading will be vital to our continued effort to efficiently and successfully introduce our products and services to this rapidly growing market segment." said Rob Hammond, Technical Sales Director for Mica Corporation.
Unique Trading, owned and led by Bilal Umer, is based in Lahore. Umer has more than 7 years of experience providing solutions and support for the flexible packaging and ink manufacturing industries in Pakistan. Unique Trading will partner with Mica to provide adhesion promoters and technical service to converters with extrusion lamination capabilities. MICA water-based primers and coatings will help converters to enhance bond strengths, improve barrier properties, and promote adhesion to various substrates for a broad range of flexible packaging and printing applications.
