June is National Safety Month and in recognition of the central role it plays in the pulp, paper, tissue, converting and allied industries, TAPPI invites industry companies to submit their safety success stories. Have you instituted a new program that reduced OSHA recordables? Have any employees identified a potential safety issue and implemented a company-wide process to help prevent it? Has your company achieved a record number of hours without a safety incident? If so, we want to hear your stories – and share your successes. Simply send them to me and we will develop a series in Over the Wire highlighting your accomplishments and also feature them on tappi.org.
