Next week TAPPI will kick-off its newest conference, TAPPICon 2021. Held on October 3-6 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Ga., the event is considered one of the largest technical conferences for the paper, packaging and tissue industry. Professionals will experience a comprehensive technical program with over 145 expert-led presentations, roundtables and panels focused on key topics affecting the industry today. The program features eight topic-specific tracks:

  • Coating & Graphic Arts
  • Management
  • Papermaking
  • Papermaking Additives
  • Papermaking Fundamentals
  • Process Control
  • Reliability & Maintenance

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear former United States Black Hawk Helicopter Pilot and Congressional Veteran Commendation recipient, Elizabeth McCormick, share empowering and uplifting stories during her keynote presentation, “YOU. In the Pilot’s Seat,” on Monday, October 4th.

In addition to the peer-reviewed technical program, TAPPICon offers multiple opportunities for attendees to reconnect with friends and meet new business contacts including the Peachtree Street Stroll (onsite social), TAPPI Trivia and University Reception, Women in Industry luncheon and reception, and Hagemeyer Happy Hour. Attendees can also talk directly with suppliers during three New Technology Showcases and on the exhibit floor.

Safety
The health and safety of all TAPPICon 2021 attendees and participants are a top priority for TAPPI, and safety guidelines and protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the state of Georgia, the Cobb County Galleria Centre, and the Renaissance Waverly Hotel are being closely monitored and implemented.
