Latest Better Together Podcasts Recorded Live at SuperCorrExpo – TAPPI’s debut face-to-face event of 2021

After nearly two years of pandemic-related event cancellations and rescheduling’s, TAPPI (in partnership with AICC) was excited to hold its first face-to-face event in August: SuperCorrExpo 2021.
TAPPI’s Better Together: Conversations with Innovative Leaders podcast set up a booth on the exhibit floor to capture some of the energy and enthusiasm generated by the event. A number of attendees were invited to share their perspectives on the industry and discuss innovations on display at SuperCorrExpo during Part One of two exceptional episodes:
- Adam Bland, Quantum Ink, who shares why Quantum is passionate about customer service;
- Steve Laszlo, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, discusses augmented reality technology;
- George Folickman and Tyler Thompson, Tilia Labs, who introduce listeners to Tilea’s Phoenix software system; and
- Dr. Ben Frank, Packaging Corporation of America, this year’s recipient of TAPPI’s Gunnar Nicholson Gold Medal, who will talk about his process of discovery.
In Part Two, host Jan Bottiglieri sits down with four more corrugated professionals to talk about what’s new, what’s innovative and what’s working for the industry:
- Matt Miller, Helios, discusses his company’s innovative machine learning platforms;
- Frank Mallozzi, EFI, introduces next-level technology that can enable the industry to envision, design, and create new products;
- Heather Jennings, Bio Huma Netics, Inc., discusses diversity and innovation for the corrugated industry; and
- Johann Perera, Hummingbird/Georgia Pacific, showcases that company’s incredibly agile, new large-format digital printing.
