TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit: Now a Virtual Event

The 2022 TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit, now taking place online February 19-20, offers hiring companies the opportunity to interact with students and conduct interviews, as they learn about career development and collaborate with their peers and seasoned industry experts from around the world.
“TAPPI provides great opportunities for students to learn about various types of employers in the industry, cutting-edge technical information, and build their professional network” commented Terri Creech, REACH Program Manager from International Paper, “and the TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit provides a forum for students to interact with their peers from other schools and with professionals in the paper industry. This is valuable experience to help college students better prepare for a future career in the industry. What is the TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit? It is the industry’s only event that brings together students from paper and packaging schools, giving them the rare opportunity to network while reinforcing their interest in pursuing a career in pulp, paper, packaging, and allied industries. No other event offers this type of interaction with their student peers, industry leaders, and companies that are seeking qualified employees, interns or student co-ops.
Sponsors and hiring companies can also participate in the entire program with the students. Young professionals are encouraged to participate to assist in the recruiting process and share their perspectives on life after college.
