Brigl & Bergmeister Announces Price Hike

Brigl & Bergmeister (B&B) has announced a price increase of at least €200/t for its entire product range comprising label, packaging and specialty papers, according to Euwid.
The increase will be valid for all deliveries from 1 July 2022.
The step was unavoidable due to continuously rising prices for pulp, chemicals, energy and natural gas, which had led to a massive increase in production cost, according to B&B. As the cost escalation is expected to continue due to strong demand – especially in the case of birch pulp – the new prices will only be valid until 30 September 2022.
