Ready for another informative TAPPI webinar? The Promise of AI Versus the Reality of AI Today webinar is taking place next Thursday, September 29th 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (ET). Widespread digital transformations are revolutionizing industrial manufacturing and processing environments, including the pulp and paper industry. Leading the charge are artificial intelligence (AI) powered applications, which are emerging across industry types and production processes. The intended result? Intelligent and autonomous operations that reduce costs while boosting safety and asset reliability. With the development of multiple types of AI, ML, tools and platforms, we’ll review which of these solutions would work best in your environment.
A foremost AI-powered application area is integrated asset performance management (APM), including proactive condition monitoring approaches. Estimates indicate the return on investment (ROI) is significant, with as much as 50% savings in maintenance costs. For manufacturers and operators, this is a game-changer, as many are challenged with the directive to improve the bottom line on under-optimized operations.
By the end of this webinar, you will learn to:
- Distinguish the basic concept of AI and algorithm and the differentiation between the two concepts
- Identify relevant AI/ML tools in their company
- Identify the potential of AI applications and machine health strategy in their organization’s operational process
PLEASE NOTE: Webinar participants will receive a certificate of completion and .01 CEUs for attending this webinar. To qualify, participants must attend the full duration of the webinar, and complete the questionnaire after the webinar.
