The Fedrigoni Group has signed an agreement with Arjowiggings for the acquisition of Guarro Casas, a manufacturer of specialty graphic papers. The company is based in Gelida (Barcelona), Spain, where it operates a plant with 140 employees.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Future synergies will then also involve Fedrigoni's Self-Adhesives business unit, with special reference to the premium labels segment," Nespolo added.
Jordi Sauras, General Manager of Guarro Casas, commented, "Our two companies are extremely well-matched and Fedrigoni's experience in the luxury packaging sector, its knowledge of processes and manufacturing, added to the global dimension, will be crucial in helping us to develop new and highly innovative solutions."
