The WMU Paper Pilot Plant has partnered with TAPPI to offer the Paper and Paperboard Coating Course, held Tuesday, July 25 – Thursday, July 27 at WMU in Kalamazoo, MI. The course will cover the basics and highlight new developments in barrier and functional coatings. Participants will meet over 15 expert guest speakers, build their knowledge and network over the three days.
Plan to attend and gain a holistic understanding of coating raw materials, processes and applications. Participants will get an excellent background on the leading professionals’ new developments in packaging, barrier materials and curtain coating. The course also includes tours of the WMU Paper Pilot Plants (high-speed coater, paper machine, recycling plants) and paper-related laboratories.
