There’s only less than two weeks left until the Hands-On Pulp and Paper Basics Workshop, held Monday, June 5 – Friday, June 9 at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. This unique hands-on introductory level workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence to master the basic concepts in pulp and paper manufacturing. Participants will be provided with a broad overview of Pulping, Bleaching, Chemical Recovery, Recycling, Papermaking and Converting.
Participants will have the opportunity to run a pilot-plant paper machine, have close interaction with pulp and paper professionals and find out how different processes affect paper properties. This is a can’t miss opportunity.
The course will consist of presentations each morning followed by hands-on laboratory and pilot-plant exercises every afternoon. Participants will receive a set of course notes, lab manuals and have access to the lecture files via the internet. Earn Continuing Education
