TAPPI Connect: Social Media just for us.
Imagine productive online chats where you choose the topic, or help a peer with a solution! TAPPI Connect is just that. It's an online community where you can grow your network and get answers from industry professionals in the pulp, paper, tissue, packaging and converting industries. It's like social media without the neighborhood drama, high school photos, or pleas about missing pets (but feel free to post pet pics).
What’s in TAPPI Connect?
- Groups: Join topical groups (such as Young Professionals, or another TAPPI Division), participate in one of the Open Forums, or join a Specialty Group (such as consultants, local sections or alumni).
- Member Directory: Available only to members, search this directory for potential connections.
- Open Forum: Read discussion threads, ask questions or start a discussion of your own. You can also access documents in the Open Forum library.
- Ask The Expert: Live and online, these take place six times a year on the Open Forum and give you a direct line to subject-matter experts. Submit your questions and benefit from the knowledge of the experts. Each is archived, so you can revisit it as needed.
- Mentor Match: Sign up to find a mentor or consider putting yourself out there to mentor others. Share experiences while working together to achieve professional and personal development goals.
The TAPPI Connect App: Connected Community
- You don't have to stay tied to your desktop to benefit from TAPPI Connect - keep in your pocket. The Connected Community app (a user friendly mobile version of TAPPI Connect) gives you an easy way to participate, no matter where you are.

Stay up-to-date with industry happenings, expand your contacts and increase engagement through TAPPI on Instagram. Best known for its photo-sharing features and following trends, Instagram can be a very effective networking tool. Upload pics of you or your team at work, in your community, or at a TAPPI conference.
