In Memoriam: David Albert Dyer

David Albert Dyer, 74, died unexpectedly in November, 2023. Dyer earned his BS in Chemical Engineering at the University of Maine in Orono. After graduation he served in the Maine National Guard and then moved on to graduate school at The Institute of Paper Chemistry in Appleton, WI. Dyer spent 40 years with International Paper; he was also a long-time TAPPI Member, active within the Paper and Board Division. Dyer was well-known to many throughout the industry. He was devoted to his daughter Angela and to Judi, his wife of 52 years.
