Sappi Europe, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging paper, has introduced “Algro Finess C,” a coated flexible packaging paper specifically designed for coffee packaging.
Known for its high-quality appearance and excellent printing and processing properties, this new paper also effectively reduces fold and colour breaks that can detract from the packaging's appearance at the point of sale (POS). “Algro Finess C” for Added Finesse
This newly developed, one-sided, double-coated MGBK paper (Machine Glazed Bleached Kraft) is specifically designed for flexible packaging applications. It is ideal for various packaging uses in the coffee and food sectors, such as snacks and confectionery. Coffee packaging, in particular, often exhibits fold and colour breaks after printing and folding, revealing white areas. “Algro Finess C” addresses and prevents these unsightly spots. The paper features a high-gloss surface and treated backside, available in 80 g/m² and 90 g/m² grammages. Its unique properties also make it suitable for direct contact with food.
