It is with respect and appreciation that PPEC extends its congratulations to Serge Desgagnes of member company Kruger Inc. as he embarks on his retirement after more than four decades of working in Canada’s paper packaging and containerboard industry.
Serge has been a long-standing supporter, member, and board director of PPEC. His contributions to representing the environmental interests of the industry, his expertise of recycling and containerboard mills, and his steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability have been greatly appreciated and will be missed.
Serge’s career began in 1980 where he started as a buyer with a printing company, working his way to his most current role as Vice President of Containerboard Sales during his remarkable 31-year tenure with Kruger.
He is well-respected by his peers and customers and has been described as “a benchmark in the industry for information and advice,” and PPEC couldn’t agree more.
Thank you, Serge, for everything you have done for PPEC and our industry, and we wish you the very best in your retirement, and hope that it is filled with lots of happiness, family, sun, and a few rounds of golf!
