SCA to Hike Kraftliner Prices

SCA announced that they will increase kraftliner prices by €60 per metric ton in Europe.

The new price is valid from August 1, 2024.

"We see a continued good growth in the market with a solid increased demand for Kraftliner”, remarks Mikael Frölander, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at SCA Containerboard.

SCA is organized in five business areas: Forest, Wood, Containerboard, Pulp and Renewable Energy. The core of SCA's business is the forest, Europe's largest private forest holding.

SCA produces brown and white-top kraftliner at the Obbola and Munksund mills in Sweden. The current production capacity amounts to 865,000 metric tpy and is projected to increase to 1.14 million t by 2026.
