A.Celli Selected by Rizhao Huatai Paper as Technological Partner for PM8 Rebuild

Huatai’s PM8, with a wire width of 5m and a design speed of 900mpm, will be upgraded and relocated with the goal of producing High Porosity Sack Paper with 100% virgin fiber and other grades with a portion of OCC.
For this challenging project, A.Celli will supply the ÆGO™ STREAM S headbox, capable of managing a very high slice flow up to 180.000 l/min and equipped with a state-of-the-art SMARPRO dilution water control system for the finest automatic regulation of the sheet basis weight profile.
The Chinese paper producer Rizhao Huatai chosen A.Celli Paper as key supplier for the PM8 rebuild thanks to previous similar experiences from PMT’s history. Rizhao Huatai Paper Industry Co. Ltd. manufactures and distributes kraft paper, tape base paper, envelope paper, wet paper, food wrapping paper, electrostatic copy paper, and sanitary paper products in the domestic market.
The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Huatai Group, a large listed domestic paper producer located in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. Its location near the port of Rizhao is particularly advantageous for the supply of raw materials for pulp and paper production. Rizhao Huatai currently has five special paper production lines, a natural chemical conifer pulp production line, a self-sufficient power plant, a wastewater treatment station and a lignin deep processing workshop. With an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of pulp, it is the largest specialty paper production base in northern China.
The main products include natural color chemical needle leaf pulp, refined kraft paper, film original paper, composite kraft paper, tape original paper, envelopes and archival bag paper, wet curtain paper, food packaging paper, high-grade white kraft paper, color cardboard, kraft paper, transfer printing original paper, release original paper, bag paper and so on.
