The National Paper Trade Association (NPTA) is pleased to present the 2024 Stanley O. Styles Industry Excellence Award to Tom Groves of WCP Solutions. Tom's cultural competence, sound managerial skills, and selfless dedication to the paper industry have been apparent throughout his career.

The Stanley O. Styles (SOS) Industry Excellence Award is NPTA's highest honor and is awarded to an individual who has had a distinguished career in the printing paper industry. Each year, the SOS Nominations Committee selects an industry leader who has made a positive impact through innovation and dedication, and whose character represents the ideals for which leaders all strive.

Tom's journey in the paper industry began in 1974, marking more than five decades of profound contributions. He started as a sales manager in Portland and eventually went on to become WCP's CEO. After 18 years of service, Tom retired from that leadership role and joined the board of directors.

Under his stewardship, WCP Solutions has grown into a third-generation, privately-owned powerhouse for distributing essential products across the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, and Alaska. However, Tom's legacy extends far beyond his contributions to WCP.
Of his many accomplishments, establishing a Hospice House in Central Oregon is recognized as the one that makes Tom most proud. This monumental milestone demonstrates his commitment to community welfare alongside professional accolades.

The SOS Nominations Committee recognizes Tom Groves for his exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and profound impact on the paper industry and beyond. His achievements embody the spirit of the award, celebrating individuals who inspire through their contributions and commitment.
