TAPPI’s Nano Division is organizing a new informational webinar focused on cellulose nanomaterials (CNMs) as a binder. The webinar will be presented by Mehdi Tajvidi, Full Professor of Renewable Nanomaterials in the School of Forest Resources and Advanced Structures and Composites Center at the University of Maine.
CNMs have excellent binder properties that can be used to partially or fully replace common adhesives in an array of applications. You will learn the history of using CNMs as a binder and explore various ways CNMs contribute to new product development efforts enabled by their binder properties.
