TAPPICon 2025 Call for Papers Now Open

TAPPI has announced that the Call for Papers for TAPPICon 2025 has officially opened. Industry experts, researchers, innovators and leaders are invited to submit abstracts to present at this important industry event. The deadline to submit abstracts is December 1, 2024.
TAPPICon 2025
This year, TAPPICon, May 4-7, 2025 in Minneapolis, MN, is introducing a new, reimagined program format, focused on the industry's most pressing challenges and exciting opportunities. By focusing on six critical topics that are shaping the future of the forest products sector, TAPPICon 2025 is designed to provide actionable insights that can directly impact operations, sustainability, and innovation. In addition, programming areas will expand to include other segments within the forest products industry such as pulping, engineering, nanotechnology, and bio-based materials, ensuring even broader and deeper coverage of key industry areas.
The six topics include:
- Equipment, Processes & Operations: Exploring advanced solutions aimed at optimizing processes and equipment to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and operational reliability.
- Emerging Technologies & Methodologies: Showcasing the latest technological advancements transforming the pulp and paper industry, including new and online tools and methods for assessing and enhancing production processes.
- Corporate Citizenship, Sustainability & Environmental Impact: Addressing how corporate citizenship integrates with sustainable practices and strategies aimed at reducing the environmental footprint and promoting a circular economy.
- Innovative Technology for Products & Processes: Focusing on methods and innovations to improve quality of product properties, and overall production reliability.
- Pulp & Fiber Innovations, Alternative Materials and Applications: Highlighting advancements on using high aspect ratio fibers and sustainable fibers to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability in pulp and fiber materials.
- Talent Development, Safety & Best Practices: Focusing on career development, industry trends, and best practices aimed at attracting, training and retaining talent.
