The demand to train new operators at a faster rate is greater than ever. While process control technology provides valuable insights into "what" is happening, NPT2 eLearning courses delve into the "why," offering a deeper understanding of processes.
Created under a grant from the National Science Foundation, the National Network for Pulp & Paper Technical Training (NPT2) offers comprehensive eLearning courses designed to effectively train new operators and technical professionals. These courses also help experienced operators bridge knowledge gaps, enabling them to better mentor newcomers. Developed by seasoned educators, the NPT2 curriculum spans introductory to intermediate levels and has successfully reached thousands of mill personnel.
Explore a wide range of NPT2 courses. Available courses include Pulp Manufacturing Technology, Chemical Recovery, Paper Manufacturing Technology, Wet End Chemistry, Tissue Manufacturing Technology, Paper Machine Optimization and more.
Site licenses are also available to accommodate multiple learners. A company license allows unlimited use for training all employees at your site, and the content can be customized to fit your specific mill, processes, equipment, products, and audiences. Take advantage of discussions with NPT2 Director Dr. Michael Kocurek on how to apply NPT2 content to mill-specific equipment and processes.
