The TAPPI Kraft Recovery Operations Course (KROS) offers an in-depth review of kraft recovery operations. This renowned four-day course helps professionals improve pulp production efficiency, minimize operating costs, and reduce environmental impact.

Led by internationally recognized experts, the curriculum is continuously peer-reviewed to deliver practical knowledge through presentations, Q&A sessions, quizzes and group exercises.

Participants will master key concepts such as kraft recovery processes, evaporator operations, and solutions for recausticizing problems. Thursday morning’s Hot Topics session features not-to-miss presentations on electrostatic precipitators, optimizing water usage in the causticizing plant, and the accumulation, impact and control of non-process elements.

The course draws a global audience, with recent sessions attracting professionals from more than 50 companies across 12 countries and 16 states. This course is co-located with TAPPI’s Introduction to Pulp and Paper Technology Course to offer attendees of both events the best networking opportunities possible. We’ll see you in St. Petersburg, Florida in January!

Register for early-bird rates offered through December 16, and don’t forget to book your stay at The Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront Hotel before December 23, 2024 to make sure you receive the group rate.
