TAPPI's Gulf Coast and Southeastern Local Sections invite you to gain experience and skills through workshops, technical sessions and networking opportunities at the popular KilnCon 2024, December 5- 6, at Georgia Tech’s Savannah Campus in Savannah, GA.

This year’s event features two workshop and four not-to-miss technical sessions including presentations on strategic performance topics.

KilnCon is in its seventh year and still going strong attracting kiln/recaust professionals from mills in the U.S., Canada and around the world. Last year’s event brought together 500 attendees, including staff from nearly 50 different facilities. At KilnCon, mill staff, researchers, consultants, OEMs and servicing contractors interact during workshops, technical sessions and networking opportunities. Subjects include lime kiln and recaust process and operations, kiln maintenance, efficiency improvement projects, ring build-up, chain systems, burners, and refractory selection and installation.

In addition, there are plenty of opportunities to network and learn outside the “classroom,” including the Thursday evening social reception where attendees are encouraged to relax and connect with their fellow ‘KilnConics’.

Download the event’s brochure to view the program details, registration form and lodging opportunities.
