Sonoco Products Company has announced several leadership changes effective January 3, 2025.
CFO Transition
Jerry Cheatham, a Sonoco finance veteran of 36 years, takes over as interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) following Rob Dillard's departure. Cheatham brings extensive financial and operational expertise to the role, ensuring a smooth transition and stability within the finance organization. The company is actively searching for a permanent replacement.
Reporting Changes
Shawn Munday, responsible for Sonoco's global treasury, tax, and mergers & acquisitions, will now report directly to CEO Howard Coker. John Florence assumes additional operational responsibility for the North America Paper division alongside his existing legal and Converted Paper Products leadership roles.
Investor Relations
Roger Schrum returns to Sonoco as interim Head of Investor Relations following Lisa Weeks' departure at the end of January 2025.
Upcoming Earnings Report
Sonoco will report its fourth-quarter and full-year 2024 results on February 18, 2025, followed by a conference call on February 19th.
