Bellmer has modernised Emami Paper Mills‘ board machine at the Balasore mill in Odisha, India.

The delivery included a new TurboJetter headbox with training, commissioning and start-up service.

The PM4 is a modern, multi-layer coated board machine with an annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes. The main products are folding boxboard grades from 170 to 450 g/m². The PM4 has a wire width of 4.3 metres and a design speed of 550 m/min.

Bellmer Finland was responsible for the project and the products were manufactured in the company‘s own workshop in Hollola, 130 kilometres north of the capital Helsinki.

‘We chose Bellmer because the company has excellent headbox technology and numerous references worldwide for similar qualities,’ says the plant‘s director, Ashish Gupta.
