TAPPI Announces Newly Elected Board Directors

TAPPI has recently announced two new elected officers to its Board of Directors. T. Scott Frasca and Daniel J. Goymerac will join a prestigious group of leaders at the March 2025 TAPPI Board meeting. Representing a broad array of industry segments, TAPPI’s volunteer Board has successfully guided the association throughout the course of its 110-year history. The Board consists of a Chair, Vice Chair, TAPPI President and CEO and nine Directors. Its past and present list of Directors includes a long line of industry thought leaders.
T. Scott Frasca has served the paper, paperboard and coating industries for 40 years and is currently Director of Sales-CASE and Nonwovens with MiniFibers, Inc. located in Johnson City, TN. Prior to that, Frasca was Senior Account Manager with Aries Chemical, Inc. and Technical Sales Manager with RohmNova/OMNOVA Solutions. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and earned a BS/BA in Biology/Business Management in 1983 from Marietta College. A TAPPI member since 1986, Frasca has vigorously supported TAPPI at both the local and national level his entire career. He has been an active volunteer formerly chairing the TAPPI Empire State Local Section and the Microbiology Committee. He is a Magnabosco Outstanding Local Section Award Winner as well as a distinguished TAPPI Fellow. Since 2015, Frasca has chaired the annual TAPPI Runnability Fun Run, which has raised more than $200,000 for TAPPI scholarships since its inception. Frasca’s commitment and focus on attracting students to the industry, providing scholarship options and growing the TAPPI student chapter footprint will continue as he transitions into his new volunteer role on the Board of Directors.
Daniel "Dan" Goymerac, P.E., is Vice President, Industrial Business Development of Miron Construction Co., Inc. located in Neenah, WI. Goymerac brings 30+ years of engineering consultation, start-up, troubleshooting, installation, and construction experience in the pulp and paper, power generation, and forest product markets. He previously worked for numerous national engineering and construction firms serving as a Senior Process Engineer, Design Build Project Manager and as an Industrial Engineering Department Manager. In 1991, he received his Bachelor of Mechanical
Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Goymerac is active and currently the Chair for the TAPPI Lake States Local Section. Dan has a passion for getting the next generation interested in the industry by talking to elementary, middle school, and high school students about the expansive career opportunities they can have in the forest products industry. He will continue the critical work the TAPPI Board of Directors has outlined to grow membership and increase participation from the industry.
