NC State’s highly rated Hands-on Workshop for Pulp and Paper Basics takes place March 10-14, 2025 at the university campus in Raleigh, NC. This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of Pulping, Bleaching, Chemical Recovery, Recycling, Papermaking and Converting operations.

What are we going to do?
Register to explore how various processes impact paper properties. The program includes morning presentations and hands-on laboratory exercises in the afternoons. Topics covered include wood structure and chemistry, chemical and mechanical pulping operations, stock preparation, as well as the importance of chemical recovery and environmental regulations in pulp mills.
