Industry professionals focused on tissue manufacturing safety and efficiency will convene at TAPPI Tissue Division’s Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee (YDSRC) 2025 Spring Meeting, May 15, 2025 at the Bridgewood Resort Hotel in Neenah, Wisconsin.
The one-day program, running from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM CT, offers tissue manufacturers a valuable opportunity to engage with peers and experts on critical operational concerns. This year's agenda features focused discussions on methods to improve hood operation and energy efficiency, thermocompressor operation, and includes an informative case study. Attendees will also participate in reviews and updates of several TAPPI Standards and Technical Information Papers (TIPs).
The committee brings together manufacturers, owners, users, and service providers who share the common goal of developing industry standards and practices that address problems causing drying system delays and safety compromises.
Registration for the in-person event is $150 and is open to everyone in the industry. For those unable to travel, a free virtual attendance option via Microsoft Teams will be available, registration is required for both. Additional subcommittee and working group meetings are scheduled from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM for those wishing to participate more deeply.
