York Label Acquires Southern Atlantic Label

York Label, Omaha, Neb., USA, has acquired Southern Atlantic Label (SAL), Chesapeake, Va. SAL employs 130 people. Its primary market segment is food including poultry, deli meats, cooking oils, and sauces, in addition to beverages, durable goods, healthcare, and personal care. The acquisition "aligns very well" with York's core markets, the company notes. York produces labeling and packaging for global consumer products, wine and spirits, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage companies. It has production facilities throughout North America and a joint venture in Chile. The company has more than 700 employees.
