Södra Increases Softwood Pulp Prices

Södra, Sweden, reported this week that it is increasing the price of its softwood pulp by $30 per metric ton, beginning March 1. The new price will be $890 per metric ton. In announcing the increase, Ulf Edman, president of Södra Cell International, noted that the pulp market remains solid with increased demand and low stocks.
