The rebuild goal was mainly focused on increasing machine speed up to 2,000 m/min while maintaining the same trim width and improving paper quality, making softer products, and improving runnability and maintenance. The stock preparation system and the machine were upgraded to allow the production of products with different furnishes.
The Toscotec scope of supply included an AHEAD 2.0 L crescent former with a multi-layered headbox (TT Headbox ML – T) featuring consistency profiling, a new felt run design, upgrade of the existing two-press configuration, new yankee dryer doctoring, tail threading system, full width turn up, and a TT Reel H.
