Walmart/Sam's Club Schedules 7th Annual Walmart Sustainable Packaging Exposition

Walmart/Sam's Club Packaging SVN has announced the 7th Annual Sustainable Packaging Expo on May 8 - 9 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers, Ark., USA. Merchants, marketers, and other Walmart associates are invited to join product vendors and packaging suppliers to review opportunities for cost savings and sustainability improvements within the Walmart/Sam's Club supply chains.

The Expo will be focused on:

Cost savings and sustainability improvements in product packaging
Exhibition of packaging products and services from hundreds of packaging suppliers
Information sessions to share successes and provide key information and solutions
Recognition of outstanding packaging innovations in FY 2012.

The purpose of the Expo is to:

Drive EDLC through packaging savings
Identify new opportunities for more sustainable packaging
Connect buyers, product suppliers, and packaging suppliers in a collaborative effort.

Attendees can register online. Enter your email address into the "Check Email" to complete the application. Then click on the "Information Sessions" tab to register for the classes. Attendance is on a first-come basis.
