Peterson Packaging Takes Control of Bankrupt Ranheim Containerboard Mill in Norway
Peterson Packaging, Sarpsborg, Norway, reports that it will take control of the Ranheim testliner and board mill near Trondheim, Norway. The decision comes in the wake of the bankruptcy filing by Peterson's paper division, which owns the mill, on April 11. The Ranheim mill has a production capacity of 115,000 metric tpy and some 115 employees. It will now become an integral part of Peterson Packaging.
Peterson Packaging is a leading supplier of corrugated and solid board packaging in Scandinavia. It has 10 production facilities across Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark.
