U.S. Containerboard Production Falls

U.S. containerboard production in April lost 1.9% over the same month last year, as reported in AF&PA's (Washington, D.C., USA) April 2012 U. S. Containerboard Statistics Report published this week. Production was down 8% compared with March 2012, and the month-over-month average daily production decreased 5%.

The containerboard operating rate for April 2012 fell compared with March 2012, from 95.7% to 91%.
