U.S. P&W Paper Shipments Decline

Total U.S. total printing and writing (P&W) paper shipments decreased 3% in July, compared with July 2011, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) July 2012 U.S. Printing-Writing Paper Report released this past week. Shipments of coated mechanical papers posted the only year-over-year increase among the four major grades. U.S. purchases (demand) of P&W papers also decreased by 4% in July.
