The Construction Value Pathways project is groundbreaking market research that has identified key trends in the global construction industry and sets the forest products industry's sights on diversifying with more advanced products and pre-fabricated construction solutions of the highest environmental quality. FPAC and its partners undertook the initiative to examine how to diversify the lumber industry beyond its traditional markets and suite of products.
Canada's forest products industry is a $57 billion dollar a year industry that represents 11% of Canada's manufacturing GDP. The industry is one of Canada's largest employers, operating in hundreds of Canadian communities and providing more than 230,000 direct jobs across the country.
