The two-sided coating was vital to allow copy printed on the inside of the package to be read clearly "through" the bottle—a feature used to stand out to consumers on shelf. Crescendo also provided a luxurious feel and allowed for clean crisp die-cutting, another feature used unique to this package design.
"We are extremely excited to have won this award," said Regina Knoll, MWV marketing manager EMEA. "Crescendo was the perfect solution to this challenge. It met every criteria set for this project including helping the bottle stay within the package because of the two-sided coating that allowed for the application of an anti-slip varnish.
