The Arne Asplund Award Foundation (AAAF) is now accepting nominations of candidates for the Arne Asplund Award in mechanical pulping. The Award will be presented during the International Mechanical Pulping Conference in Helsinki, Finland, in June this year.
According to the Rules of the AAAF, the Award candidate – the Award receiver to be selected by a chosen selection committee – should have made an outstanding contribution, preferably during the preceding five years, to the research into and/ or the industrial development of high yield pulping, i.e. mechanical or chem-mechanical pulping, utilizing mechanical defibration techniques and/or new applications using high yield pulps. Nominations should contain a brief CV, motivation and achievements of the candidates, and a list of publications.
