The new yankee dryer design optimizes its internal grooves and reduces the nominal thickness of the cylinder, providing for more efficient heat exchange. The resulting increased drying capacity allows higher machine performance in both production and speed. In addition, field measurements ensure that the insulation of the heads (Toscotec patent owner), reduces by 5% the consumption of steam at the yankee due to less heat loss.
Established in 1873, the Oji Group has been a leader in the pulp and paper industry in Japan for more than 100 years.
