Mika Joukio will start as the CEO of Metsä Board Corp., Finland, on October 1, the company announced this week. Metsä Board’s current CEO Mikko Helander will still be available for special company assignments if needed until December 1.
Joukio comes from Metsä Tissue, where he has been CEO since 2012. Previously, he was head of the carton business at Metsä Board. Joukio has worked for the company since 1990.
