Crown Holdings Inc., Philadelphia, Pa., USA, has promoted David A. Beaver to VP and corporate controller effective March 3. Beaver is responsible for the company's internal and external financial reporting, internal controls, and budgeting and forecasting and reports to Thomas A. Kelly, SVP and CFO. He previously served as assistant corporate controller after joining the company from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2010.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Holy Family University.
