Pöyry, Gorham P&T, CNG Set Stage for Three-Day Tissue 360° Forum

Tissue360° Forum, April 20-22 in Atlanta, Ga., USA, begins with a presentation by Soile Kilpi, director of Pöyry Management Consulting North America, who sets the stage for this year’s three-day forum by providing an in-depth overview of the North American Tissue industry. Kilpi will examine capacity status and plans as well as overall capital spending for the North American Tissue sector, together with analyses of market drivers and key developments.
Dick Arnold, CEO/president, Gorham Paper and Tissue, will explore his company’s struggle to implement a new-approach production strategy and create a profitable partnership with distributor Central National-Gottesman (CNG), in terms of the plan, the people, and the results. Part one of the package presentation with CNG, examines the mill’s past failures, recent successes, current and future investment goals, and its strong impact on the community of Gorham, N.H.
Part two, featuring Warren Pullen, EVP of CNG, unravels the product distribution plan and updates its current progress on the path to success. Pullen and Arnold will detail the strategies that are working most effectively for them as well as the strategies and approaches that have not been so successful. The team will also discuss plans and outlook for the future.
