Total U.S. kraft paper shipments in February were 116,900 short tons, 6% lower than January 2015, according to this past week’s AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) February 2015 Kraft Paper Report. Bleached kraft paper shipments decreased to 8,300 tons compared with January’s 9,400 tons, while unbleached kraft paper shipments decreased from 115,000 tons to 108,600 tons.

Overall, shipments for the first two months of 2015 were 6.6% lower than the same period in 2014. Total month-end inventories increased to 85,000 tons.
