Discover how Sugar is the New Crude at PEERS and IBBC's Biorefinery Tour

American Process Inc.'s (API) Thomaston, Ga., USA, Biorefinery produces nanocellulose, pulp, cellulosic sugars, cellulosic ethanol, and native lignin from a variety of biomass feedstocks (HW, SW, agricultural residues, etc.) using their patented AVAP® technology. The plant’s new nanocellulose demonstration line produces cellulose nanofibrils, cellulose nanocrystals, and lignin-coated, hydrophobic varieties of each directly from biomass. The facility is situated on eight acres and includes 41,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space along with API’s corporate R&D laboratory. AVAP co-produces fuels such as ethanol along with higher-value products from cellulose such as nanocellulose and pure glucose sugars for conversion into biochemicals. Now you can see it in action...

In conjunction with the PEERS and IBBC conferences to be held in Atlanta, Ga., USA, October 25-30, API Thomaston Biorefinery is opening its doors to let the first 100 interested participants see how it’s done for just an extra $20 on top of their standard registration fee.
