TAPPI Yankee Dryer Group Helps Tissue Mills Improve Safety

Where can you go to meet the world’s leading yankee dryer owners and service providers and hear ideas to improve yankee dryer safety and productivity? The TAPPI Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability (YDS&R) Committee meets twice a year for just that purpose!

The next meeting will be November 3-4 in Neenah Wis., USA, and anyone is welcome to attend.

Topics include:

Tissue mill energy audits – case studies
Thermocompressor optimization
Head insulation and bolt replacement
Hood energy performance
Review of recent yankee dryer incidents.
